Miguel A. De La Torre is Professor of Social Ethics and Latinx Studies at the Iliff School of Theology in Denver. The American Academy of Religion bestowed on him the 2020 Excellence in Teaching Award. He has published forty-three books (five of which won national awards). A Fulbright scholar, he served as the 2012 President of the Society of Christian Ethics and was the co-founder/first executive director of the Society of Race, Ethnicity, and Religion.
